I got bored tonight and decided to give this site its annual facelift.  The orange was inspired by Cassandra and all of the design touches she's putting into our house.

This is based on a picture I saved off the net.   No clue who the original photographer was.  Drawn from scratch, like all the recent posts, in Adobe Ideas.  Filtered to hell in various apps.

My girlfriend is of the Borg!

A friend sent me this pic when I asked for subject material for a new piece.  This is about an hour's work.

The inspiring picture was from the first nude-subject shoot I did around ten years ago.  That shoot gave me a lot of confidence to continue my visual art.  This illustration is a low resolution preview of my new piece.

This is an improved version of the last post done at print resolution with some additional tinkering.

This is a new piece I am working on.  Not finished yet but just a taste of what's to come.  Illustrated in Adobe Ideas and tinkered with in Tilt Shift Generator and Photo Forge.  Based on my original photo of Babydoll.

If you couldn't make the last show you can see all of the pieces here.  I had one set of self portraits because, well, when you are with your phone you always have yourself for subject matter.  I had one section with pictures of Cassandra, one section with three pictures of cats, one section of illustrations and about a dozen random pieces.

Thanks to everyone who came out!  There was construction on the street but the host venue, Sports Optical,  was thrilled with the amount of traffic I was able to generate, especially on short notice. And a big thanks to the six people who bought pieces!  I almost broke even and now I have a lot more inventory.  Look for another possible show/party, maybe at our house, sometime soon.

Friday, July 1 at Sports Optical in Denver I will be having the iPhone show that I've been talking about doing for, oh, two years now.  I will have framed iPhone prints, unframed iPhone prints and unframed regular prints.  I'll have to pull the show together in about a week (and I hope to shoot some new material yet!) but a show is better than no show :)  Big thanks to Linz for giving me this opportunity!

Flyer art created in Phoster.  Background image for flyer:  used toonpaint to create a black and grey comic version. i merged it with the original using blendcam then did some color effects to it with cinemafx. this was followed by using photoforge to paint white on a piece of the left side that had a random object and the final touch (radial soft focus, very slight vignette) was done with tiltshiftgen
